Any of you other EMS C-90 pilots out there that occasionally fly twins (newborns) and use TWO isoletes, PM me if ya would. Thanks! ;)

One for one baby, one for the other...twins. They both have separate ventilators, etc, from what I gather and can't be in the same isolete most of the time.

OK, I must have had a memory lapse, I remember being launched for twins on a couple of occasions and I now recall it was two airplanes. :0

Lol, no problem. I've only flown twins a couple of times...it's really rare for us. When we do, the C90 gets a little cramped and we're just searching any alternate methods. I pitched a King Air 200 or 350..., but I don't know how far I got with that!! :D

Our company operates 90's and 200's. The 200 is really nice in that we can fit two isoletes front to back on our lifeport. It came in handy during Katrina as we were evacuating two patients at a time. Plus the extra power of the 200 is always nice.

Do you ever fly the twins in the 90 though? That's what I need to know, and if you do, what setup do you use if you've got two isoletes? Thanks!

2 isoletes in the 90? No way, I don't think there would be any way of getting two on board. You would cube out. Not to mention the extra weight would put you way over.

Our 90/200 uses a "lifeport" system. I'm not familiar with who manufactures them.

Yeah, we're able to get two isoletes in our C90, but it is pretty cramped. We have one long isolete, and a shorter one as well when there's a second baby. There's still enough room for the 2-person Neo team in back, but it's a little "cozy," which is why we want to see if there's any alternate methods. Doesn't look like it so far!
