I just called the fbo -- Provo Air Center and set everything up through them. You park on their ramp and all the customs and paperwork is completed right there, easy and painless.

I'll be there for 4 days... how's the nightlife? any reccomendations? boss said I could bring the girlfriend, should she stay? :pimp:

The handlers at provo air center are pretty good. I was there for five days over thanksgiving and I have a quick turn there tomorrow. There wasnt much of a night life when I was there but it might be better with all the vacationers now. Beers expensive, the beaches are beautiful, the food is good, and from what i hear the snorkeling and diving is awesome.
enjoy

We experienced the exact same thing. Food/beer is expensive but good. Couldn't find anything to do. You can ride the "Gecko" tourist bus around part of the island and at least get to some of the restuarants/bars. Didn't find the locals to be overly friendly. Spent a lot of time on the beach and at the bar. Used a handler the first time I was there, then called Provo Air Center directly the 2nd time and they took care of everything.

I agree with NYY -- we were there the first week of November and it was dead. If you take your girlfriend it would probbly be fun --looked like there is some good snorkling, can't comment on the nightlife though.

There is a new FBO there at MBPV called SkyBase. They also operate as SkyLink, an airliner there that flys 1900's. 5 times the ramp space, nicer facilities and super customer service. Better than Provo Air Center.

some places are better with your girlfriend. Thanks for everyones' insight.

Spent a week there last July with the wife. Definitely a go and relax type of place. Very little to do other than sit on the beautiful beaches and enjoy what the water has to offer. Great snorkeling, scuba, and fishing if you're interested.

Place is super expensive. $45-50 for a case of Bud Light at the grocery store. Not a big deal if your on the bosses CC but when you're footing the bill the place is crazy expensive.

T&C used to be a well kept secret. I think the quiet days are over. Developing quickly and I've heard talk of dredging taking place for cruise ships. Once that happens it will be like all of the other overcrowded tourist places in the islands.
