Do you really believe that the Mesa pilots rode, en masse in a bunch of CRJ700, and made this deal with Delta? Or are you the least bit aware that they are just flying the g@dd@mn planes when and where they are told to fly them ... just as you are?

Comair guys called CHT guys "whores" cuz they didn't get Comair pay in their post-9/11 contract. CHT guys called Mesa guys "whore" cuz they gave up rules to get rid of Freedom. Mesa called Mesaba "whores" cuz they didn't get a big enough raise after slamming everyone else. Then Mesaba and ASA called Comair pilots "whores" cuz they agreed to a pay freeze for more jets.

And of course,to anyone flying anything bigger than an Avro, all you regional guys are ... you guessed it ... "whores".

You mean thanks FREEDOM A GROUP pilots or F.A.G.S. There was no mass exodus of mesa pilots that went over to the original freedom airlines...We are working hard to try to better this place, but we have a pretty ruthless leader....Guess the fact that our pay is higher than MDA's 70 seat rates (compared to our 50 seat rates)and the fact that we are making as much as PSA does...do the math our 70 hours multiplied by hourly rate then by 13 pay periods a year...28 day bid cycle....doesn' mean anything...Listen close to 7.5 years ago when I hired on to AIRMIDWEST it was for a time building job to move on plus I lived in one of their domiciles.....Times change and obviously so has this entire industry...Don't slam the entire Mesa pilot grouf for the decisions of our Management and the select individuals who decided to screw the rest of the mesa pilots and this profession by going over to freedom for their own personal gain! And on a personal note the 700's nor the 900's were or are worth it!

I once thought that hey it's not the pilots they are just working for a company, and in doing so they are told what, where, when and how to fly. But being a Union Member for the last five or so yaers I realize that's not the case.
They have to work for a good contract, and if there is no union rep. then them must agree to lower wages and horible work rules.
I know that coming from a flight instructor job, and or a 135 job and looking at an airline job seems like the brass ring. But when you factor in the low pay, long hours and the way the company undercuts it's pilots are you really getting a better deal?
Well at first you are, your flying state of the art equipment for a 121 Carrier. But when you finally make it to the major airline you have set yourself up and the rest of us for lower wages. There is always someone out there willing to fly for less, and my friends it has to stop. Our future carrers depend on it.
So I don't feel bad for the guys who willingly sign up for this, you did it to youself!

I love how every Mesa pilot defends themself by saying the same thing... Oh poor us you don't understand how hard it is to be under Johnny. Boo Hoo, we only fly where we are told to just like you. Oh, we don't make these deals our mangagers does. Listen you bottom sucking idiots, your "Managment" wouldn't be making these deals if you hadn't crawled under your rock when you had the chance to fight. Wait I can hear it now "Oh, we had to deal with Freedumb, whaaa" If you would have walked out like you all had a pair and cared about who you are and position you fill, there would have been no way JO could have beat you. So from now on I really don't want to hear your crying and whining, just deal with the fact that we all are going to complain about you till the end of time, or untill you start raising the bar
