Here at FWA, I've seen a few older Lears of Air Cargo Express (a/k/a Turbodog), parked under the tower, and havent flown in a while.

Is ACE/Turbodog still flying?

I haven't heard em' in the air in awhile.

I think EX_CV580FR8DAWG used to fly for them....

Hey Guys....

Here's the Scoop from what I know as of now. ACE was kicked out of hangar 42 by Mercury Air for being delinquent on their lease payments for the hangar space. I believe the old Lears were repositioned to the Victory Aviation Ramp and just waiting to be trucked- out or parted- out. The ACE certificate is being purchased from a guy over in Leipsic(spelling) Ohio. I guess the old man owns a bunch of Bandits and does a lot of AG Flying as well. I think it is a 4400 foot strip and vfr only. As far as I know they are down to one aircraft and the old man has plans to RVSM the two lears that he has(991 and 993TD)..991 will be going in for a 12K inspection soon I hear. I think they also owe a load of $ to Grande Air as well. All I do know is that Turbo Dog is on it's way out. I will have to contact a couple friends that still fly there. I am just glad that I did my time there and made it out alive and now on to the airlines...joy, joy!

Dipatch Guy...what are you doing in Fort Wayne?
