We're selling our Commander 840 and the new owner needs to hire a full time pilot. Here's a little about the airplane: 1983 840 with Dash 10T conversion. Custom panel with dual Garmin 530's, KMD 850 MFD with Honeywell uplink Nexrad and text weather, Garmin TAWS, Dual GTX 330 Mode S transponders with traffic, and a lot more. Wired for Bose headsets. Great paint/interior and maintenance. Every flight has been logged since the day the airplane left the factory. It's a sweet airplane.
Now, about the job. This job is best suited for a single guy.
The airplane will be based half the year in Cody, Wyoming and half the year in Long Beach, CA. The new airplane owner has a really nice "guest ranch" outside Cody, not far from the eastern entrance to Yellowstone. ROOM AND BOARD WILL BE INCLUDED IN CODY. Room and board at the ranch will be included. The pilot will NOT be expected to be a ranch hand or some other crappy "make work" job. You'll be responsible for flying and making sure the airplane is kept up to perfect standards.
The owner is still working out the details of the Long Beach accomodations. He has a guest house, but I suspect he'll end up renting an apartment in the area for the pilot.
Pay will be at the upper end of the scale for turboprop pilots. In the $50-60K range.
Here's what we need, and we need it ASAP.......
1500 TT, 1000 ME, 500 Turbine, 100 time in Turbo Commanders. If you're not current, let me know and for the right guy we'll work out a recurrent in the airplane.
Please, don't send me an email if you're not qualified. As much as I'd like to help everybody, finding pilots is not my "day" job and I don't have time to weed through a bunch of letters from folks that aren't quite there yet with their qualifications.
This is a single pilot operation, so please don't send applications for SIC. The owner is not particularly interested in earning his license, but he would like to be able to land the airplane in the event of incapacitation of the pilot, so a current MEI would be nice.
We need a pilot to start September 1st.
Please send me an email with your basic, verifyable, qualifications. You can send a resume if you like as long as the times are current.
Send your information to: [email protected]
I'll get back to everybody as I'm able.
Thanks
