Anybody know if there are any big differences between the 1st and 2nd editions? I'm going to pick up the book, but if I can save $30 or so by buying a used copy of the 1st ed., I'd rather do that.

thanks,
Dave

I bought it last year, just for reading and education sake.

Great book. I, too, recommend it highly.

I am using the 2nd edition in my Air Carrier Systems class at college. It is a great book. Very thorough book. There are many pictures describing the topics in the paragraphs.

The second edition that I got from Sporty's came with a multimedia CD-ROM in the back. Now my instructor who has a first edition is jealous :D

Either way, it's a great book.
