I'm sure much has been discussed on the board about this, but will the major airlines hire someone with let's say 2500 hrs TT and 1000 turbine PIC with the turbine PIC coming all from a King Air or something comprable? What about someone with nothing but Caravan time? I know certain airlines (FedEx, JB) have MTOW requirements but am curious. Thoughts...

Just a wild guess here.

But if you have only flown a Van for your turbine time, you are not going to get hired to fly much else. You have not proven you can remember to put the gear down, or know how to deal with a second engine.

The only reason to fly a Van for someone like airnet is to move up in into the next aircraft.
