Anyone have any info on TSA's interviewing process. Any and all would be appreciated, I've got an interview scheduled for Nov.

I just checked the aviationinterviews.com site and I can confirm the accuracy of the posts there. The written test hasn't been updated since 2001. Word from the schoolhouse is that one or two classes of twenty per month are to be hired for the forseeable future.

Hi!

There is no longer any sim eval.

Good luck!!!

TSA pay and Mins

Does anyone know what the per hour pay rate is for new hires at Trans state. Airinc only states average monthly pay not per hour.

Also Airinc states the mins as 1,500TT fixed wing, 500 ME. Helo pilots need only 100 FW hours.

How acurate is this information as regards to helo pilots?

I am a help pilot with 3600 total hours 300 FW and 71 ME FW. Any chance on getting an interview?

Thanks for any information.

I've heard that the sim ride still exists, but it is in a little multi sim at the old TWA training center (TSA uses the same building for ground schools) instead of the old Outer Marker sim at the Howard Johnson where TSA ran ground schools in the past.

The sim still exists for those below 1500TTL and 500ME.

All new hire FO's make $21.22 per hour. Check out www.tsalounge.com like that dude said, all this information is on there.

Hi!

As a mil helo guy, it's no problem. Get on the APTAP website and you can find some guys that work there-and probably some on the interview team.

An APTAP guy ran the interview when I interviewed.

Also, I know it's different know, but my sim buddy had about 600 and 15 ME. He was not a mil or helo guy.

PS-Good luck!!!
