rjacobs said:no new flying and the disappearing of the j41 so they have to send all those guys through thus taking the place of the new hires. I would say classes will start up again in june or july, maybe sooner if we get any new flying, but ill believe it when I see it.

And if we grow thats life folks. Same at your airline. You didn't hear a huge fuss when we lost a bunch of our airways flying to another regional did you?
ERJFO said:You lost 5 airplanes, not 69... You didn't furlough anyone, you working for a sh%t contrat and sh%t pay results in people losing their jobs and being unable to pay their bills. Bottom line. But I guess "thats life" so it's okay and you shouldn't feel bad. Give me a break.
Who's hand is slapping who's face? Just a reminder that the mainline carrier is the one that puts things out for a bid. Industry leading contract makes for a more expensive contract with mainline and thus, the rejection of that for a lower one.Any growth at TSA from XJT flying will be a slap in the face to the regional industry..
Punkpilot didn't "loose" any airplanes, the use of "you" and "I" makes you take the blame off the real reason "you" are loosing 69 airplanes and the reason that "you" have to furlough pilots. It will not be the fault of the TSA pilot group that people cannot pay thier bills, so yeah, that's life. Besides, I haven't heard any announcement yet, you "you" haven't lost anything. You lost 5 airplanes, not 69... You didn't furlough anyone, you working for a sh%t contrat and sh%t pay results in people losing their jobs and being unable to pay their bills. Bottom line. But I guess "thats life" so it's okay and you shouldn't feel bad. Give me a break.

Turkey Shoot said:Before anyone points at TSA as the Bogey Man of contracts, last time I checked they were the only carrier in recent history to tell management to pound sand with their contract extention. This was an extention to fly brand new, shiny jets and they told management to put it where the sun didn't shine. Now if thats "bar lower" lowering, you guys can bite it. I don't want any growth at the expense of somebody else walking the street. Not many guys at TSA do.

BTW, real mature turning your back on TSA guys who've done their best to hold the line. Friggin babies blaming people who had no choice in the matter.

illtake2 said:You are an a$$hole, I am assuming you fly for Expressjet. First of all why don't you take a look at our contract and tell me why it sucks? Your contract is better than ours but ours isn't the worst out there. Next look at our ramp and tell me how many coex planes we have, then tell us how many 70 seaters we are flying for 50 seat pay. My last point will be tell me where the TSA pilots signed on the dotted line for any of their flying.
STINKER said:Punkpilot,
With all due respect your downsize on the US airways side from 12 to 7 jets didn't result in any furloughs what so ever. If I recall all I got was a we'd like you to consider a voluntary leave memo which never materialized. Your new flying will put 500 or so pilots on the street...so you can make Hulas more money and get paid below industry standard to do it...so thats life! Any growth at TSA from XJT flying will be a slap in the face to the regional industry..

Has anybody looked at www.transstates.net recently? The route map for the United Express side has some routes that go into Texas, and are all connected by dotted lines for some reason. I noticed this was new around mid-March. Are these the new routes?
