I heard that with the new low rates that United has set for there express operations, that the express carriers are having trouble trying to get finacining for new aircraft. Does anybody know this to be true, sounds pretty sh#tty, but expected from United. Also, now United has said that they don't plan on exiting chapter 11 till next summer!! Looks like ACA did the right thing to seperate from the mothership!!

Just heard a rumor from a bud of mine at USAirWays. Their MEC had a meeting with alpa and they are planning on Chapter 7 for United in the near future. Before I get flamed it is just what he told me, and I am not sure how all the mec alpa stuff relates. Especially coming from USAirWays. I am just trying to find out more.

I knew that senior capt. comment was coming. I also heard from a friend who knows a senior capt. who likes to jumpseat that.........?? Well, whatever..
