Does anyone have or know of a Trimble 2000 Approach GPS simulator? I've searched the 'net, and apparently there was one called the "NavTutor", but I can't find where to get it. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Stonefly

A lot of Elite Flight Sim PI-135's shipped with a fully operable Trimble 2000 GPS within the program. Find a flight school near you and have a CFII take you through it.

Thanks, I'll look around, but not many flight schools in Montana/Wyoming have sims.

I was hoping for a computer based sim, such as Garmin provides.

Does anyone make a ground training unit for the Trimble? I know that they made one for the King GPS units, you can just slide in the unit from the airplane and power up the GPS without having to sit in the plane.

I appreciate the help!

I have never seen a stand alone product. Trimble actually shipped elite flight sim software out to buyer's of their product so they could learn the functions without having to be in the aircraft.

Double check with them but a friend of mine had a copy of it a couple of years ago and ran it on his PC just fine.
