I’m thinking about switching phones (and possibly the phone provider too). Either Treo 700P or 700wx at Sprint or Treo 700p or 700w at Verizonwireless.

I’d rather hear more about the phones themselves than the two phone providers as I’m using both right now and feel the service and the coverage is about the same in all the markets we fly into (I have a company and a private phone).

Any other good pda phones you’d recommend? I’d like to be able to access airline schedules, have a log book on it, etc, etc. Thanks for the replies.

Btw, I'm open to using a diferent provider if they have a GREAT phone.

I use an Audiovox Pocket PC on Verizon. I understand this model is not available anymore, but an improved version is. At the time I bought it, there was nothing out there that had faster transmission rates - it was hands down faster than any Treo available. My primary use for it is for work scheduling, and I love it because it's got a big bright screen and IS very fast when downloading our scheduling pages.

It is a little heavy, so I considered going with the newer version (i.e. smaller and lighter) but found the new one did not use the SD card format for removable storage. Which may be no big deal to most, but I use my SD cards interchangeably with my camera, and can play SD cards through my DVD player at home to hear my MP3's on my stereo when I'm not on the road. Now, I'm just being cheap but I don't want to spend any more money of freaking data cards! I'll live with the SD's.

I don't use the pull-out keyboard at all, preferring the on-screen tap keyboard instead. The unit would be much smaller if they hadn't built in such a big keyboard.

Overall though, I really like it!
