Just checked out the site and says they do pay a salary during training, anyone know what the pay is per month, and do they put you in a hotel?

Thanks

It's been a while since I worked there so things may have changed. You are based in STL during training so there are no expenses paid for such as a hotel or per diem. The training rate was based on 60 hours at whatever the new hire FO hourly rate was. I stayed at the HOJo's where the training center was also located. The suite was on the 8th floor and the training center was on the 6th. I think they have moved but do not know. I shared a suite with 2 other guys and it ended up costing about $350 for the month. I'm sure that will be more now. Good luck.

Durring training you receive your hourly pay rate at 60 hours per month. You also should get per diem for every hour that you are in class...only its taxable. You receive no compensation for a hotel, so most poeple find a crashpad or split hotel rooms with people in their class. The pay doesn't seem like a lot, but you may end up with a lot of paid time off. The sims for the EMB are getting backed up now, and so are the IOE checkairmen...so it is likely to have a few weeks off inbetween training events that are all paid for.
