STL management arrive in RIC today and fired MX management. 17 people got axed...any clues as to what going on?

They are probably starting a whole new company under TSA holdings which will do all the MX for TSA and GO@#$%. They will then hire people at first year pay rates with no work rules. Some people will start screaming that these are scabs. Somebody will then come on this website to who just got hired and defend this practice the people. In a few months it will be mentioned in passing but new horrors will have occured in the industry and people will have moved on.

Its true. Had MX on my plane in STL and the mechanic said that 14 RIC mechanics got let go. Also said that RIC is done as a MX base. Wonder how long till RIC is no longer a pilot base.
