Just a little advice to all you students out there like myself.

I had just finished my lesson today and as I was leaving, my instructor stopped me, and asked me if I wanted to tag a long with him and his next student who was also getting his instrument rating. I went along and was amazed at all the little things I picked up riding in the back seat. Its a totally different experience to watch someone else learn. And its amazing all the things you can learn just by watching. It really takes you out of the hot seat, so to speak, and just lets you think about all the things that are going on.

Obviously you don’t get to log any of the time but I think the experience is more that worth it. I will definitely do it agian.

That's one of the best perks from working for a flight school! I tag along every chance I get unless the student isn't comfortable with me looking over his shoulder. It always irks me when I have to turn down the invitation for whatever reason.
