When would you consider it too late to go to school for ATC? I'm 28 now (29 next August). How long does it take to get hired on after school?

Thanks.

Check with OK City, or call the community college in Minniapolis that just reopened.
They might grant you a waiver under certain conditions. I know they're hurting.

You will have better luck getting answers at the www.atccti.com forums. Hopefully you're not getting into it for the money, because with the new payscales and overworked facilities, it won't be much better than working for a regional.

Everyone knows that Flightinfo.com is the place to get the inside scoop on EVERYTHING!

Well, they have to take a pay cut! The FAA needs the pay cut as evidence of the budget shortfall. The budget shortfall will be the reason for the user fees. The user fees will go toward important government projects like paying TSA employees and airline executives' golden parachutes. This will create a demand for more user fee money, but since many of the users can no longer afford to fly, they have to do SOMETHING, so we just make a bigger pay cut for a bigger budget shortfall for bigger parachutes. The faster we can bankrupt the airlines, the faster those executives can use those parachutes! And the faster they use them, the faster the government gets their kickbacks and campaign money...
