Depart, KVUO 1,400 & 3 down the river wife & I go @ 300' to 400' Just out side of KKLS Visibility goes up to about 5+ Ceilings are about 1,600' Figure ahh it's nice & calm out lets hop to 1,000' over the power lines & go to the beach! We have a nice tail wind 2450rpm 113 g/s reading on the on GPS entering the mouth of the Columbia River we turn left to the south just past Seaside, OR We notice a few guard helo's so I drop it to about 100' man where the waves big today! We turn around go to KAST Eat & Fuel up File IFR depart climb up high enough to be on top & head back I Activated my flight plan in to KVUO I love it Portland dropped me in to the soup and was vectoring me all over the place the moment I was handed to them, I got 1.1 actual in my C-150 today and Portland Actually let me do the LDA-A in to KVUO what a fun day!
 
The views from our office are better than the top CEO's in the world! Esp when it's cloudy.
 
Keep enjoying yourself NW, it's the journey, not the destination. Sounds like a great flight. Remember that sense of newness or beginer's mind as much as you can as your career continues. It can be the edifference between mediocrity and perfection, an ulcer and happiness, an ordeal and more fun than you can shake a stick at.

Yea, when it gets boring I will give it all up! Then open up the photo album and say dam that was fun! And go at it again!
 
Sounds like fun, man....the other guy was right, this is some of the best
flying and most fun you'll ever have. Thanks for the description :)
 
I love flying low, especially over water and near beaches. Too bad it doesn't happen much anymore.

nope, I can't make that claim.

I found it on aero-news.net last year - i believe it was used in a caption contest.
