I have a pretty good job at a shrinking regional right now and have been there four almost two years. I put my resume out recently just to see what I could conjure up and have been offered a position with CHQ on the 170. For you guys that are there, where do you see the upgrade situation, and do you guys expect them to grow any more?

Take the 170 position. Awesome aircraft and my friends who fly it love it. Not sure how CHQ will shake out from DAL situation though. However, no regional (except Mesa the bottom feeder) is safe in this business. Might as well enjoy life on a nice aircraft while you can... Take the 170 job.

Judging from your previous posts it sounds as though you are at PDT. I'd stay there personally. I thought things were looking up around PDT? I wouldn't jump ship just to fly a 70 seater and hope that upgrades are quick. You might live to regret it.

Stay put if you have a good job now. The 170 is just another airplane and growth is slowing here.
