Hey, just wanted to let you CMR people know that I don't want to do any flying under the DAL flag if it costs ANY of us ANYTHING. I hope you guys, the rest of my pilot group, and the pilot groups of the other six airlines given RFPs by DCI stand strong and stop this whipsaw attempt. Let's stop the race to the bottom!

Thanks for your support at coex. We will set an example and in turn DAL will also set an example out of us. Let's hope this example doesn't include any furloughs. The race will stop, but not w/out casualties.

Same sh.it different airline!

I had no idea that ExpressJet was even being considered as a Delta Connection carrier. Is this just a rumor or has someone at Delta tossed around the idea of having ExpressJet fly as DCI?

I?Lm with TOGA, I don?Lt want to be caught up in any of that either.

Letters from the CEO of CMR (Randy Randemacher) indicate that in addition to Skywest, ASA, Comair and Chautauqua, ExpressJet, Mesaba, Mesa and Pinnacle are submitting proposals to mother Delta for the DCI flying.

not so fast

Mesaba, Mesa and Pinnacle are submitting proposals to mother Delta for the DCI flying.

I am pretty sure both Mesaba and Pinnacle can be ruled out at the time being.

I think PNCL has a little while to wait before NWA is letting them work for others, if memory serves. Besides they have to almost double yet just to get where NWA says they want them to be size wise. Perhaps someone from PNCL could update us on that situation.

As far as XJ goes, our management has said over and over that NWA is all they are after. I am not even sure that we are able to work for DAL based on our agreement with NWA. Our president, Spanky has said that we cannot. And as we still sit without a contract and just days away from starting our cooling off period I doubt our management would participate. They have not even sent in offers to NWA based on not knowing costs with the new agreement yet, or so they say.

Now if you are talking MAIR Holdings, Inc. then that could be different. I think Big Sky would love some growth. But then again we are committed to scope and MAIR will have to either sell Big Sky or integrate them into XJ when this is over.

Of course anything is possible and some of us have been wondering why management up and asked for a proffer after this past session. Maybe this is why?
