To all the folks in our military, I'm wishing you a happy holiday, Merry Christmas or whatever you celebrate. I know it's tough being away from the family, especially this time of the year.
You've done a he11 of a job and we appreciate your sacrifice, and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Well, I don't want this to come of as hokey so I'll end with raising my glass and toasting to the guys/gals of our Armed Forces.

SLAINTE!

Salute,

Back at ya Daveman...See ya on the Duke's thread.

Cheers,

Very classy, Daveman. I was just about to post the same thing. I appreciate it alot. As a former tanker pilot, we all learned that AMC really stands for "Another Missed Christmas"...

Fellow Guardsmen, Reservists, and Active Duty professionals reading this:

The sacrifices both you and your families make for our country are remarkable abd DEFINITELY appreciated, even when you don't hear it in the news. Thanks for all you do.

I'll second these sentiments.

This year I'll be home (actually on reserve for my day job), but my heart will be with all my compatriots on the front lines around the world.

All our service men and women have my undying gratitude. May God bless you and your families.

From a furloughed reservist who finished his 2 year mobilization in Sept 2003 - to all of you - FLY safe....have a great holiday..and let's hope we finish this and get back to our jobs and families soon.

This Holiday season there were a lot of prayers for those in harms way. Personally, I also prayed for those who are furloughed. I hope 05 brings good for all.
