while i do not condone some of the tactics and shenanigans used during the past 6 months, i do applaud the ability of your MEC to bring to bring unity to your group and i hope that after the merger goes down maybe we can get some people with balls in our new combined MEC who will at least try to enforce the contract and the blatent disregard by cato and co.

how about standing up for some things like

taxing perdiem when the rate is less than the international standard for that city

using the free breakfast as a bargaining chip, (new hotel in DXB for april btw, and yes, no breakfast and yes, way out in the boonies, and yes, construction on both sides of new buildings.)

business travel,

international base reserve rules as per the contract,

gateway tax,

stansted in general, and dont think the junior polar guys wont get a taste of this.

More reason to push for the Polar work rules during the merger, most of your above list does not apply to Polar since it is already covered by their contract.

Lots of holes in the Atlas contract that need patching IMO.

FWIW, I have not seen any hostility between the two groups, heard stories and rumors, but have not seen it myself.

Would be nice to be able to bury the hatchet......and I do not mean in the others forhead!!

I tend to fall in the disturbed nuts catagory myself.......why just today they were out of whack whilst walking to the store! Could be those fake Calvin Kliens from PVG..............seam in the wrong place or something..................but that is probably more than I should have said huh??!!
