I know times are tough for us pilots, but we need to support our SLC. We need to take pay cuts and a degraded contract due to the fact that we need to keep these compensation packages for our leaders. They are our leaders and might I say......our mentors. Below is a combined compensation package to the top guys. It includes TCC (total cash compensation) LTI (long term incentives which include stock options) and Other (living expenses). Now remember people.....these leaders need to live too. They have expenses that need to met. Such as trips, education for their children and of course an cash to keep the wife happy.

Paul Foley (president and CEO) Remeber, he has to commute!
$1,337,267

John Spanjers (president of Mesaba Aviation and COO) What can I say?
$269,501

Robert Weil (VP, CFO, and Treasurer) HE HOLDS 3 JOBS!!
$453,419

Robert Meekin (VP of people and process) Whatever that is?
$211,079

Jeff Wehrenberg (VP of ground ops) No lost luggage here.
$188,607

Please keep in mind that we all can cut back more to support these salaries. May God help us all.

UMMM....Yeahhh...... (Office Space quote)

Thats not going to cut it. Read their 10k filing on if their is a mass exadus from the company training costs will go up and that could damage theeconomical viability of the company.

But you are probably making a good choice.

Hey why don't we offer them PBS?

Oh yeah, they didn't want it last time we were willing to give it to them.

I wonder how much they wish they turned the GPS's on in the Saab now - about 6 years too late.

Don't forget - Carl Pohlad - $300,000 to be chairman of MAIR holdings.

VP of Ops said it best in a RGS meeting: "Management will take cuts when the unions take cuts as well." Talk about the wrong soapbox for the wrong crowd. Good thing there wasn't a stake in the room!

Take a look at the MEC pilot message....looks like Mr. Spanjers was dancing around a few issues today.
