To all the Colgan guys and gals that post on this board, your identity has been revealed to management by one of our own. I wont mention any names but rumor has it that the bosses in HEF have Pic'd up this info from one of our captains. I dont know if this captain has a bone to Pic with anyone but if you ask me its so wrong for someone to try and Pic a fight with their colleagues.
I Pic'd up on this yesterday via a phone call and from now on will no longer be THE MIGHTY MUNGUSAURUS those of you who count will know who I am on future posts.

as one of last year's new-hire Beech captain's who walked out of ground school after meeting the chief pilot and head of scheduling I can't say I am shocked. You gentlemen and ladies are burndened with a charming group of individuals in leadership positions. My sympathies.

By the way... Isn't it illegal for a company to allow a pilot to fly when he is not legally fit to fly? Wouldn't someone who has an eating disorder and has been documented to pass out during flight be of concern? Also, wouldn't it be a violation for that pilot, who happens to be a PIC, to continue flying with a known medical deficiency?

Indeed it is a violation for them to devote zero concern over situations like those above, but when you're busy conducting surveillance on internet message boards in an effort to blacklist the staff you don't like and promote the terribly unqualified ones that you do (you know, because this is how a legitimate business is operated), well then concerns over low priority items like safety get neglected. Heck, that's probably why aircrews knew their next months schedule the day or two before it went into effect.
Frankly, between this and those who navigated by sextant, reversed from an intersection on an active runway while using a compact mirror and deplane after the Pratts are humming leaving nobody in the cockpit, why I'm pleased to say that it sounds like management is right on top of things. Of course, when I expressed my concerns over safety, I was told that my concerns were "unfounded"... Gosh, what was I thinking? I really wasn't in a position to comment on safety was I? I only flew the airplanes and stuff. Well, I'll head off back to school here and see if I can't get me a better edumakshun...
