Air Inc says these airlines on this link are hiring -

Who Is Hiring

As far as regionals, I didn't think Mesa was picking up till later this year. Shuttle America furloughed in late March, are they now hiring? How many of these airlines are simply taking resumes and not actually hiring???

It says "Recruiting this month" I guess it doesn't necessarily mean pilots. I work at Air Wisconsin, and we sure aren't hiring pilots right now. Maybe some other positions, but not pilots.

149 Companies are Recruiting this Month!

key word: "Recruiting"

Kit is the man. he is still making $$$ even in this economy. It makes me sick.

Hiring vs Recruiting

"Perhaps most encouraging for airline-job-seeking pilots, though, is that in the April 2003 edition of AIR, Inc.’s Airline Pilot Job Monthly newsletter, 82 of the 195 airlines covered (42 percent) reported hiring 454 pilots! The monthly hiring average has been between 400 - 600 a month since 9/11 and we expect that level of hiring to continue now that the war is resolved. "

The only word used is "hiring" and it's even in the link above as titled in my Email, http://www.jet-jobs.com/whoishiring.html, yet when you get to the top of that page it's suddenly 'recruiting'.

Oh that old bait & switch! I've been Darby'ed!

Spirit has pilots on furlough. I'm just waiting for him to close down like FAPA and keep everyone's money, then open up under a different name when things turn around.
