I'll address this to the moderators as well as anybody else who might know...

A few weeks ago, maybe as much as a month and a half, there was someone on here with this money-making deal about browsing online for money. It deteriorated into a pissing contest (big surprise there, huh?) and the last entry was by one of the moderators (UAL78 maybe?) saying that everything would be quieted down until some of the people who had decided to try this out for themselves reported back to the rest of us...

So what gives? Does the fact that we never heard anything mean it was garbage or are some of you out there making scads of money while the rest of us languish here in our poverty-stricken ignorance?!

Would appreciate an update. Thanks.

Well I didn't see the thread you are talking about, but lets put it throught the "Common Sense Test", shall we???

Do you REALLY think someone is going to pay you to sit around and surf the internet? (I realize many people sit at work and surf, and are being paid, but technically they are not being paid to surf)...

Do you REALLY think Bill Gates is going to send you $196.84 to forward some stupid emails so he can "track email progress over the internet"???

Once again, let's apply Occam's Razor... The simplest solution is generally the correct solution... If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is...

By the way, I have a nice shiny bridge on the west coast I am looking to sell, are you interested??? I'll cut you an INCREDIBLE deal!

I didn't really think it went anywhere, FC---I was more or less looking for the responses of some of those who decided to try it. Since I had never seen anything, I didn't expect much....

I was married, she wanted to do Amway, I have more soap than I'll ever need even though I'm now divorced---I may play dumb during my Ramp Check, but I'm really not that stupid...

The bridge sound cool though! I'll talk to some of my buddies and see if we can round up some bucks... Be right back with you. And don't tell anybody else or they'll ALL want one too, OK?!

Believe it or not, this is a legitimate deal. But that being said, it's a deal that really gets under my skin as a website/business owner. These people are paid by clicking links. When everything works as it's supposed to, it's a very effective marketing tool for the business owner and the person/business hosting the link. The business owner pays the other business for each click. If it's a legitimate customer, then good deal.

But when these "other" people are getting paid by clicking thousands of links, it becomes very costly for the business owner. Flat out, it's stealing. It'd be like walking into a grocery store and loading up on all of the free samples day-in and day-out...

Alright, I'll get off of my soapbox now...

Actually NO it wasnt a legitmate deal!

As you will remember I was the one who initially called BS on the poster and note he hasn't been back since.

As an update the program was called 12 Daily Pro. The SEC, FBI have arrested the operator Charis Johnson. All the assets have been frozen whilst the investigation continues. Charis has been restrained from operating a website or any sort of financial business.

The investigation so far has determined that it was run as a complete ponzi/pyramid scheme and that investors will be lucky to see 10cents on the dollar from their investments.

Charis is likely to spend a considerable amoaunt of time in prison for defrauding the public. Although she probably has a large percentage of the money hidden somewhere offshore, since she just paid 500k for a new house (just before she was arrested).

What really got under my skin was the poster creating an identity and coming on here to promote and illegal scam. It's not like the majority of us can afford to be diddled out of any money at all. Anyway, hes since disappeared into the ether and probably wont return.

Anyway, you can search the SEC's site for more details on 12dailypro and for heaven's sake people use your heads. If it is too good to be true that it is!.

10% per day....come on

P.S Workingstiff - if thats your website you were talking about it's awesome, love the music.

Accurate information from the one down under; looks like you did some good research.

Thanks Mate,

Hopefully not too many people got into it from here after that guy posted about it.

Anyway, the guys handle here was Pitot Grande and from what i can peice together from other threads he is a CRJ 1st Year FO based at 9E (Pinnacle???). Anyone know him??? Kinda steams me that he steadfastly was making money off pilots from here joining the scam.

When you look back he was pumping the scam about 4 weeks before the feds froze everything. Even after I told him he still persisted. If someone wants to come up with a name for me I'll see that he has a little visit from the SEC for promoting an illegal ponzi scheme.

Dear Friends,

My name is Norm and I've got an amazing story to tell you, a story that can make you RICH BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS!

One day I was walking down the beach and I found a lamp. Rubbing it on my sweatpants, an amazing thing happened. A genie appeared. He told me he had come to make me an AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, ONE TIME OFFER! All I had to do was piz people off and for every person who started to hate me a nickel would fall out of my az.

Well, I was skeptical at first. I mean, come on, sh****** nickels? But I decided to give it a try. I wrapped my brain around the problem to figure out how I could make as many enemies as possible in the shortest amount of time and it hit me... A chain letter, or an ostensibly illegal pyramid scheme posted online in a forum where such posts are TOTALLY unwanted. Well, I went back to that genie and said I needed a little incentive to get people to duplicate my annoying spam.

Yes folks, the genie listened and he has EXTENDED THE OFFER TO EVERYONE! Yes, now you too can S*** NICKELS FOR FUN AND PROFIT! And better than that, if anyone copies the post from you and posts it themselves, NOT ONLY WILL THEY S*** NICKELS, BUT FOR EVERY NICKEL THEY S***, YOU'LL S*** A PENNY!

Let's look at the math with EASY TO GET responses:

With a conservative estimate of a million people on the net, assume half of those read your post and of that half, 85% of those people hate you. . .that's 21,250 - OVER TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. . . RIGHT OFF THE BAT!

And those people can be used over and over again. Let's say that just one other person copies this letter from your post and reposts everywhere, getting JUST AS MANY PEOPLE PIZD OFF!!! Even if they're the same people who got pizd off at *you*, that's still going to mean ANOTHER $4,250 DROPPING RIGHT OUT OF YOUR AZ! ! ! ! PYRAMID SCHEMES RUN OUT, GET OVERSATURATED, EVENTUALLY THERE'S NO ONE LEFT... BUT THIS PLAN IS FOOLPROOF, UNLIMITED, THIS LETTER CAN PIZ PEOPLE OFF OVER AND OVER AND OVER, AND YOU'LL GET RICHER EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!

Yes, with just ONE LETTER AND NO FINANCIAL INVESTMENT WHATSOEVER you can make OVER TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Of course, you'll have to clean the feces off the coins, count, and roll them. But that's nothing when you consider ALL THE MONEY THAT BEING AN A******* MADE COME OUT OF YOUR A******!

Trust me folks, it works. It's a proven fact that if you post pyramid scheme letters in all sorts of places PEOPLE WILL HATE YOU! They'll send you mail bombs, complain to your postmaster, call you all sorts of names, BUT YOU'LL BE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK WITH CRAP COVERED COINS COMING OUT OF YOUR PANTS!

I bow to the master---I can barely type I'm laughing so hard. That was easily the funniest thing I have ever seen on FI bar none! "Crap covered coins coming out of your pants"----priceless!!! THAT kind of response was exactly why I resurrected the whole question in the first place! When/if I see you on the road the first round is on me, Bob!
