The infamous "Royal Bag" in Osan...

Need a good size flight bag and refuse to pay $100 for one at Sporty's. I heard some grumbling around the squadron of a place called Royal Bag in Osan Korea that sells em cheap. I went to their website and tried to order online, but their order site must be down. Anyone know of them? Can anyone give me some details on how to order? Phone, fax, etc...?

Royal Bag definitely makes good stuff, and the price is right. The order site looks like it is back up, but if it still doesn't work for you try e-mailing them, or faxing. I'd be leery of ordering with just a phone call. Better to have something in writing so you are both (literally) on the same page. Good luck.

The order site is up, but when you hit "submit" it says "page cannot be displayed." The only email listed is for the webmaster. No repsonse from them yet.

Royal Bag makes some great kneeboards that last. I have ordered things from them before via email. They do not have a secure site. Over the past few years I just emailed them my info without any problems. I am sure calling them or faxing them is also fine.

There is nothing "infamous" about Royal Bag other than the fact it's in Osan. I'm sure you meant famous. I'm still using the same pubs kit I purchased back in 89.

I have ordered from the Royal Bag website about 5 times so far. No problems with the order, speedy service, and great product for good price.

I was stationed in Osan all of 1999. I bought lots of stuff from Royal Bag, and have been back several times since to pick up more. Their reputation for quality is well earned. They never misspelled anything, and stuff was always ready when they said it would be. That being said, I was there to accept it and proof it. I would be leary of ordering over the phone, especially for custom embroidery, given the language barriers. Web or email would be fine, and you'll have something to back you up if there is any problem.
