With the weekend over I wanted to express my belief that only safe airplanes should be flown.

We are dealing a difficult conflict that has yet to be won. ASA has a 5 year track record that displays their steadfast commitment to maximizing company profit by turning their backs on our employee group. If we soften, time will continue to go by that management will consider a victory to their profitability.

It is critical that we realize we are not going to win this conflict unless we maintain a consistent force of pressure indefinitely.

There is no golden bullet that exists for us. We all need to think like Tiger Woods. Maintain your cool and find your comfort zone. Remain consistent for the entire course, no matter how long and we will eventually be viewed as an asset that our company wants on their side.

Fly safe.

I really admire you guys. I wish us at SkyWest had enough unity to grab our cajones and pull something off like this. Keep it up. It's time for management to feel the pain.

We need to keep the pressure on folks. It is time to make them pay for NOT recognizing us as assets! Let's make them BEG for a contract. Just remember what the Chief pilots were overheard saying..."we expected this for about a week and then things will return to normal..." Make them WISH they had made a deal!!

UNITED WE STAND!! KEEP POURING IT ON!! ONLY FLY SAFE!!!

Yep!

Just remember, it is the responsibility of the PIC to determine what is "safe." If you enjoy writing up stickers and placards, and missing trim pieces al day in addition to everything else like I do-keep it up! Everything on the plane must be working/installed/addressed thru a proper mx procedure!

Don't give these idiots a minute's respite. Don't let any CP intimidate you. If you think something is not safe, that is whar matters-the CP can't say anything to try and make you do anything you consider unsafe.

Remember the motto "always attack" we have been on the defensive for years-they will not know what to do when we attack them in this manner. You can bet they will be spinning on their eyebrows after a couple of weeks of this-just wait! The time for us to be on the defensive has long since past!

-Always attack!
