How long on average would you say that most regionals wait to send out the thanks but no thanks letter after an interview? Just curious.......

I would start to worry when your friends are getting the call and your own phone is sitting idle. Pretty good indication that you may what to avoid the mailbox for awhile.

Sometimes it takes a while

I interviewed 4 months ago with the regional I wanted to get in with the most. Everything went well (they even told me that at the end of every phase) but the phone didn't ring for 2 1/2 weeks. Then it did with a class date 15 days later!

Long story short, I was the first person interviewed and hired for this class but the last to get a phone call for some reason. Others that were "mass interviewed" got thumbs up or down that day. There really wasn't any reason except that the HR lady was swamped, or so I'm told.

The moral of the story from me; don't give up hope if the phone doesn't ring right away. But I know, it can be worse than waiting for an upcoming interview!

Good luck!
