On the conference call, Joe put numbers to ABX's short-staffing. On average, 2 airplanes sitting during the 3rd qtr due to no crews. $750-800,000 a month in lost revenue, per airplane, per month. Thats $4.8m in lost revenue in just 3rd qtr.
You'd think the guy responsible for crew staffing would've been strung up from the nearest tree. You'd think there'd be a shareholder revolt. Nope. The pissing match with the union is more important, I guess.
