i think crooner has a valid point about the "airline guys" getting money from the government and now displacing guys who finally got to the point where they are making a decent living......... and pls dont tell me it does not happen i know several who have had the government pay at least 2/3 or there type ratings cost.............. so now the average corp/freight/charter guy is averaging about 400 - 500 hrs a yr and all of a sudden he is in competition with a laid off airline guy who is averaging 1000 hours a year and has his type paid for (most of it) and has medical bennies...and most likely cause he is getting a wopping unemployment check thinks it is a big raise to be paid something more than a unemploymnt check ......... how do we as charter / corporate guys compete ? comments welcomed but dont flame me i am just askin..........p.s i know some will say oh that isnt goin to happen because our great company knows they are going back to the airlines and we wont hire them ...........for most of us that statement of moral indicnation is bs
