Flight to ANC two nights ago had the MD-11 ACP in the right seat. No f/o's would do the extra trip. Thanks and keep up the good work. Now if the captains would do the same. I'm sure the company is getting the message!

I am not sure how true this is but this is a cut and paste of my Notes section from my last trip after the second revision, a 12 dayer all over Asia. The company tried to extend me an additional 2 days (50 TAFB).

I saw the trip in Open Time and nobody took it. Halfway though my trip, hub turning though Subic, I get a message to call scheduling. I politely said that I could not take the WHOLE revision, but did volenteer to fly some of it as long as I was home no later than my original pairing. I got the "let see what I can do and I'll call you back." I swore I was screwed and was going to have to fly the extra 2 days.

Believe or not the scheduler honored my request, technically he didn't have to, and got me home the same day I supposed to, I was shocked:beer:
