Thanks All DAL and DCI Pilots

Wow, I can't believe that it has been a year on furlough now. Along with the rest of the furloughed DAL pilots we were praying that this thing would not last this long. I pray each day that this thing will turn around and that we can all get back to work. From experience I know just how hard it is on our families to be furloughed. Anyways, I just wanted to take a minute and give a big Thank You to the Delta Pilots for continuing to pay for our families Health Insurance Benefits. You don't know how much that means to us. I realize it is a big chunk of change for you all to give, but without it I know I would not be able to afford insurance at my $8 an hour job. GOD Bless you all. Thank You!!!

DCI pilots I just wanted to say thanks to you all to. It does hurt to see so much mainline flying being transfered over to you guys, but I do realize that you all are working hard, and keeping that flying going so that one day we can move a mainline jet back on it. (I hope thats the plan). It's to bad things have gotten so ugly between our pilot groups, I hope that they can improve someday soon. Please just keep in mind just how lucky you all are to have a flying job to go to. I can't even begin to express just how much I miss working with all those great crews at Delta. Take care everyone, I just wanted to make a point that we still remember what all of you are doing for us, and my family thanks you.

I knew all along they were a few good Delta pilots out there who cared about DCI. Before I get slashed by other Delta pilots, I would like to show my support to all those furloughed. I do too want you guys back to work ASAP. I know its been tough for you guys and it still not easy to see some of my good friends out on the streets. Once Delta desires to recall you guys, I am sure I will roll out the red carpet and welcome you guys back.

I can only hope you get back into the saddle soon - I truly miss being a Delta Airlines employee, it was by far the best job I have had to date in my 24 years of existance on this planet. The entire DAL family treated me like "gold" and I can only hope that they are doing the same thing for you which I am sure is the case.. DAL is too strong to "fail" so hang in there and you should be good to go in the long run.
