Did you take the CFI ride yet, you said the ride is coming up soon. If you have not taken it yet good luck, let us know how you do.

Not yet, the scheduling time with the FAA got changed at the examiners discretion. Rescheduled for the first of the month! Thanks for the good luck. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Fly safe,

Once again, good luck! I just passed mine last week at the DAL FSDO. Much easier than I had built it up to be......

Congratulations ALCHEMY, great to hear. Tell us a little about the ride please.

Getting ready for the big CFI intial in Ft. Worth. Any help would be appreciated.

Been putting it off for a couple of months. I think I have psyched myself out waaaayyy too much. Taken all my checks with DE's and am nervous about the FSDO.

Please help!

Buda, as you know myself and Alchemy just went through two different FSDO's for the CFI and both of us came away CFI's first try. It sounds to me that the reputation of the FAA as CFI applicant slayers is fast fading. I convinced a CFI student who had been putting the ride off because of fear to go ahead. I told him if I can do it so can you.

I say to you Buda, take the ride and you will be nervous as you have mixed expectations. Go for it you atleast you get a shot for free!!
