Hi i am posting to see what the deal is with getting signed off to write your commercial, instrument, and possibly flight instructor written exams?
I am an American citizen but have done all of my training in Canada and am looking to now convert. I need to get my written tests done all at once and have been using the study guides and the FAR/AIM to get prepared to write. I have my interview on September 5th @ the FSDO office in Seattle to get my FAA private for my Commerical Canadian and will be looking to do my flight training shortly after that.

If there is somebody out there (i am in Vancouver Canada, so anywhere in the northwest WA area would be great) that can sign me off to do the writtens (instructor or flight school) please let me know. I dont have to much money to spend on converting ( i have worked the summer to save up for my flight training), but if somebody could give me an estimate on how much it would cost, or even if i need to pay or can just go in and get approved by the FAA to write based on my Canadian licenses (comm, multi, instrument, instructor). Thanks in advance for your help.
