Anyone have any info on the Challenger that got pranged this afternoon at TEB.
A friend of mine called me from TEB about 4:30 and said he had just watched another challenger bit the dust while landing on RW 19.

Pranged?

What means pranged?

Bit the dust?

Must have more information please.

Your scorekeeping seems to indicate that the last 3 Challengers to attempt t/o or landing at TEB have been unsuccessful. Shouldnt the real score be more like "TEB 3, Challengers 832?

I think this is a hoax

I searched everywhere.

Cannot find any 411 on this situaaaaaaaaaation.

Anyone?

Lemme guess, the yoke wouldnt move.

Read up in the injury info...theres the reason. Crew was 2 fat. Pax 2 fat.

So THATs the problem with these CL 600's.

Where was the media coverage for this one. Good thing the media was busy with the pope, else those anti airport wackos would be out there protesting the evil TEB airport again.

Turb

dang....and I just did the gear overhaul on that plane a couple months ago.

Has anybody got anymore info on it?

Sounds like I need to head up there with two new wheel assy's and a roll of speed tape. Do a hard landing inspection and ferry it back and fix'er up again.

BTW....I was looking at a report last night with serveral incidents listed for TEB. Maybe it is not the Challenger that has the problem, maybe it is TEB.

P.S. S/N 3041 is a CL601...not a 600 (doh!)
