Hi

Im a CFI/CFII/MEI with 370 hours of dual given.

Does anyone know of a good flight school who will help me with a few multi students in exchange for teaching in singles for "X" number of months

Thanks

You sound like you're offering to do an employer a favor in exchange for getting you a little multi engine experience. You're taking the wrong tack.

Find a flight school that does multi engine instruction, and get hired. Then when you have enough seniority there to merit doing multi engine instruction, do it. Teaching in single engine airplanes isn't something you condescend to do in order to get what you want. It's usually the bread and butter of most fixed wing schools. With your level of experience, you're not doing anyone any favors by teaching in the single for them...they're doing you a favor by giving you a job.

Remember that when you present your goals to a prospective employer. You can bet the employer will.

Thanks for the reply avbug

I think you will find we are on the same wavelength, I just could have worded the thread a little better. I fully appreciate that I have to put in the time before I become senior enough so that I can teach multi. My current school will not help myself or the other instructors with multi time, so Im looking for a school who will allow me to teach multi when I become senior enough

Pretty much any flight school with a twin. Thats how it works. Where are you? Start looking at all the airports near you...you might even have to relocate.
