Anyone out there know anything about their Flt. Dept. or anyone flying with them? Private held Int'l investment banking Co. that is advertising for Hawker 800XP "Co Pilot" in D.C. area; A/C based in Hagerstown, MD.

What would Hawker 800xp Co Pilot salary be in D.C. area?

What would you ask for(pay; Benefits) with a company that keeps you on trips for 1-4 weeks with lots of travel in Europe?

How well does the 800 do going to Europe?

Any answers or advice would be appreciated? Trying to get an idea of corporate jobs that I am looking at; no calls from nationals or LCCs and don't think I can take much more of sh!++y regionals.

I applied for it yesterday and they called me last night. I did the phone interview this morning. The guy doing the phone interviews is nice and does recruiting for them. If you apply for it put at least $65k-$75k. I'm pretty sure that is at least what they should pay.

What I don't understand, and he couldn't answer these questions because he's a recruiter, is why they use a Hawker for pond jumps??? He said the majority of their flying is in Europe so I was wondering why they wouldn't buy a challenger or something. I guess they would have to fly up to nova scotia for a stop??? Someone explain why a company would chose a hawker for this type of flying.

Too late Palmtree, I applied right after you posted this, got an interview, told them I'd do it for $3.00 less per hour......and well, sorry!

Good luck.

Funny you should say that.. I've been reading the Comair stuff and I told them my bid is ALWAYS $1 lower than yours. :)

**CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**, what if I tell them my reserve days are like day's off? I mean if they don't call me.............I'm not actually on duty right!

I actually folded my Contract into the shape of a Fan, just so I could wave stuff!

Good for you,

I'm to fat to sit in a Hawker for 10 hrs anyway! Can you show me how to fold my contract so that it is useful for me to, oh wait...., I burnt it the other week!

I see that you've been look'n there yourself, Phishy!
