Has anyone heard anything about Tab Express Airlines based in FL? They have a deal where you do your training with them and once you have completed the training succesfully and if you sign a 4 year contract with them they will pay back all your training costs. I thought that this sounded a little sketchy. If anyone knows anything positive or negative, let me know, thanks.

During those four years what money will you use to eat and live with?

You may want to stear clear of them until they get their situation under control a little more. They have good salesmen, so don't believe everything you hear. I'd recommend a mom & pop flight school, get your cfi build your time then fly cargo to get turbine training

Listen to everyone on here, and also do a search of all the previous topics. You'll find hours and hours of informaiton to assist you in your quest for answers!

ya, ok....but it sounds to me they, theoretically, offer something vital-which seems to be critical for a regional job-turbo time...for a price and enslavement. But during that enslavement your also building significant turbo time as well, so for those serious about the majors, and are older??? Invite comment...

theoretically they also have an airline that you build your hours on in a 1900. Unfortunately they are grounded and they have yet to fly any passengers. Call Orlando FSDO - they've been issued a 135 ticket for two years, but it's never been used.

I'll offer you something vital - a piece of advise you should not ignore.

Go somewhere else until they straighten themselves out. Heck ,go to Gulfstream, they offer 500 hrs, compared to TAB's 250 for the same price if this is the route you've already chosen.
