Nothing official yet other than what was in the news, but 3rd hand info is that ejection was initiated, but was unsuccessful.

Any news on this, guys? Jud Brinson was a great guy--flew with him at JetBlue.

While we always recognize the danger of military aviation, the sudden and complete loss of a friend and fellow pilot leaves you with a loss that can't be articulated.
