I'm pretty sure they have a fair amount of pilots that at one time or another worked for one or the other.

:puke:

Your right. They most of all should take notice of the possibilities.

Easterns aircraft orders were switched to Continental.
Easterns newer aircraft went Continental.
Easterns parts inventory went to Continental and then we started having to buy back our own aircraft parts.

Hmmmmm.........

I swear I just read a memo from AirTran management on another forum last night about a 20% reduction in 737 flying on the AirTran side.

Weird, I guess the SWA pilots will be picking up the slack. Who would have thought?

Yup SWA will be replacing previous Airtran flying, says alot

How's that Scope working out for you Superpilot92 at Delta?
How much of your main line flying has been "outsourced" to your regional "partners",
so what's your view of them?

Pot meet kettle

Too much but, We're working on that  thanks for asking

With that said, Our scope and outsourcing wasn't between our own people. You didn't see the DAL side growing at the expense of the NWA side.

Just remember, the guy who switched all of those flights from Eastern to Continental can no longer own, operate or be involved in the operation of a US Airline. I wouldn't brag about Lorenzo's management style.

Where did you see I was bragging? I was on the eastern end in case that slipped your notice. I was just pointing out a little airline history of which I am vary familiar with. Lorenzo wasn't kicked out of the airline industry because of the fact that he operated two airlines, shrunk one and grew the other. If that were the sole criteria, then Bedford would have been booted years ago.
