How long can Online LORs be filed? I think I have heard up till DB, but I am not sure.

I interviewed 26 Jul this year. My SWA buds said the web site said they had until 31 Jul to submit for all Jul interviewees.

It Depends...

A letter from the People Department (posted in the HOU Pilot Lounge to all Pilots) requests online LORs for August interviewees be submitted no later than August 31st.

The PD gives SWA pilots to the end of the month to submit LORs for the following month's decision board. It is advisable to request folks to fill out the LOR *before* your interview if you want the hiring commitee to perhaps use them as a phone contact, because if you let's say interview on the 5th and your SWA friend submits an online LOR on the 15th, the phone calls will be over by then (although the LOR will go to the board.) If your only SWA LORs are online ones, I highly recommend this practice because otherwise none of the phone calls will go to SWA pilots, and having good LORs and good phone contacts with SWA pilots is a nice advantage (although not by any means a guarentee, nor required to get the job.)
