Any truth to the rumor that SWA will "tie" each LOR to the respective pilot, esentially making it that each SWA pilot can give only one LOR? This seems to go against the SWA "family" philosophy. If they are expecting the hiring surge that is being talked about, why not allow a current SWA pilot to recommend more than one individual that he/she considers a good fit at SWA?

A SWA will be allowed to submit as many LORs as he wants. However he will be responsible for every pilot he recommends. Meaning if the new pilot is having problems, or becomes a problem, Flt Ops will have the pilot who recommends him be responsible for solving the problem. It was how SWA did it in the early days.
