How often is bid to switch bases ? Every month.
Reserve time ? Depends on which base. Stay west, less time of reserve. East coast bases will be years.
Cost of medical insurance ? I believe my family plan runs around 180-200/month, but rises every year.
Disability insurance ? As for the pilots, we have a very good Loss of license plan that just about pays you for what you were making on the line. I'm not sure how that lines up with other carriers, but it's a nice plan if something goes wrong.

Hope that helps.

If you go on what SWA calls the Regular Plan then there is no cost for you and your family. However preventive medicine (such as physicals and mammograms) are not covered, nor do they apply to the max $2500 out of pocket.
