Anyone out there who received the good call from the April Decision Board at SWA heard anything about class dates? or anything else pertaining to our SWA future?

Nothing yet, I called Last Thursday and was told that they had my DOT results (Drug Test) and I was heading to background. So hopefully next week calls for class will be going out. Goodluck to everyone! See you in class!

I called and they have everything completed except my PRIA records from my current company. Of course, the law allows 30 days for them to send the PRIA records and current co is short of people (they're own fault) so they are in no hurry for SWA to get my records (only 18 days remaining for them to send the records).

I am a non-type rated guy. I got the letter last week saying "(I) have passed the application and interview phase with SWA". I got the PRIA form from the FAA on the same day.

I have 6 months to get the type from that date...and then join the class list.

Anyone from the 22nd interviews on?

Do you have your type class scheduled? Go. Now. Don't wait. You're hanging gingerly on the edge of summer hiring. There is a BIG, BIG difference between getting hired in July and getting hired in August (as hiring tends to slow way down in the fall). Like, the difference between getting in your preferred domicile and off reserve in two months and commuting to reserve for six. I've seen it happen. Just a suggestion. Congrats!

I haven't heard much. I did my whiz quiz a couple of weeks ago. And I just got a letter from the FAA saying they sent my records to Southwest. I haven't heard anything from them yet. That's a good idea though. I'll call Miss Gina tomorrow.

Good Luck,
BS
