SWA Application Question

In the attachments/resume section of the "SWA Pilot Credentials" website, you can attach a resume but it also has an option for letters of recommendation. Does SWA indeed want to see LORs right now in the process? When the window was open in March, I thought they didn't want to see LORs until you were called for an interview.

If anyone knows what the 'official' word is for LORs here, please pass it along. Thanks.
