Let's all consider the very real possibility that with 67 posts starting on 3 Feb 11, flynvixen is NOT a Southwest pilot at all, but someone trying to rock the boat for their own amusement and/or disdain for SWA.

If I was purposely trying to create a parody of an obnoxious partisan SWA poster, I would:

-be ridiculously incendiary

-make all the standard Flightinfo spelling/grammar errors

-needlessly and inexplicably insult Airtran pilots individually and collectively

-consistently delete one of my quote markers to imply technological cluelessness

Why do I create a new thread for this? Well...because most of the Southwest guys are disengaging here, leaving a vacuum flynvixen is only too eager to fill. As a result, flynvixen has become the face and voice of Southwest pilots to many of our future AAI brothers and sisters on this shared forum. And I believe it may actually have a (small but still damaging) detrimental effect on the successful integration of our two pilot groups. This is unfortunate in and of itself, but it's especially tragic in light of the fact that IMO, I highly doubt flynvixen even flies for SWA.

So please, I urge everyone to employ Occam's Razor (the simplest explanation is probably correct) to flynvixen's posts. Please ask yourself...what is more likely:
1. Someone from SWA is a real-life parody who actually thinks and writes like that, or
2. One of the innumerable SWA haters on Flightinfo created an alter ego on February 3rd to cast SWA pilots in a bad light and do their small part to sabotage the new, integrated SWA.

I know what my conclusion is. We need to remember this is an anonymous forum on which anyone can claim to be anything.

I have PM'd him asking him to tone it down. Those have gone unanswered. I don't know if he's a WN pilot or not but now that the Transition Agreement is signed, sealed and delivered it's time for big mouths like me to zip it. Actually it was probably time on 9/27/10 but, well, you know!

Gup

I think he's funny in a John Rocker or Kenny Powers kinda way.

The original "Vixin" stopped posting the day before "Flyinvixen" began.

Since Vixin couldn't spell his own screen name .... Perhaps it's him :D

Nothing a "Blanket Party" wouldn't fix....We're looking for them now, in a Black Van, in the Employee lots...They will soon be identified by Black Eye, Lump on head, AND "ZEST" spelled backwards on Forehead! :)

Sorry bud. 'Vixin' seems to be a SWA guy or girl. He just reappeared on a SWA/AT thread.
Well, then you need to do better research:

Ksu you need to get a clue. For one we dont get stock options. We get a 20% match on what we buy. Far from being options. The stock has been in the toilet for years though. Analyst have at a sell. The 401k isnt even close to there match. They get 100% up to 7.5% (NJ guys can correct me if wrong, I am sure they will...lol). Flex matches 50% upto 6% of your salary wich is really 3%. The pension you speak of will be gone sooner or later.

Our pay compared to NJ. Look at it again brother and stop doing the RH 3rd grade mathematics. They make 12-20,000 more then we do, work less doing it and have protection. There standards CA make more, holiday pay, better meals, better quality of life. You say you have conrtol over your schedule. Now thats funny. I am fairly senior and still dont get what I would like.

The requirment to answer the phone...well lets just say if they want to get rid of you they will. Dont answer that phone a few times and see what happens. They cant make it a "requirement" that would be a blantant disregaurd for the regs. Then they would have to define your rest. They just decide to look at the so called "loop holes". Everytime they call it is a violation. It is a matter of time before the FEDS get a clue and violate the heck out of Flex. As they should be violated. Flex has NO reguard for rest what so ever.

Either you are new or an office puke. Either way you need to get a clue. Stop dinking that Koolaid and post more factual information if you are going to post.
