I just got my letter from Gary today. The 2011 SWA Battle Plan was sent to all Southwest Airlines Warriors.

This is a direct quote under the AirTran Integration section:

"Once closed, we will begin the work to integrate AirTran into Southwest, which may take up to 24 months. Integration planning along with both Companies and union groups is well underway. Until AirTran is integrated, all union contracts in place at each Company continue in force."

This should be of particular interest to ATN ALPA as they try to 'hold up' the Process Agreement in an attempt to get the SWAPA contract asap.

Seniority is forever, and the arbitrators will give AT guys better seniority than SWAPA will. Just wait it out. At least you just got a new contract, which is an improvement over the last one.

Didn't take long for johnsonrod to take the bait. Hmm...must be contract envy rising to the top again. Lonestar was a bit over the top rubbing it in the AAI pilots' faces--but at least he let shortpole expose himself again.

We were going to have wifi in all of the planes by the end of 2009. Now it looks like 2015. I wouldn't hold my breath for 24 months. We never do anything on schedule.

I don't know if I would bet on that. Look.....I don't have a dog in this fight, but I had much rather make every attempt to come to a fair deal without going to an individual that's sole purpose is to be like your Mom when you and your brother are fighting over a GI Joe in the backseat of the car - both of you are likely to do without the toy and be penalized because of your fighting. Both groups could be penalized for the behavior of your negotiators. Working together and avoiding arbitration may, in fact, be better for both parties in the end. Negotiated settlements seem to leave less bad blood than arbitrated ones.

One man's opinion.......carry on with the insults and measuring of urinaries.

JR quck question? Why all the hate? I notice you are a truly a positive person on the fractional threads. Why come here and continue to act the way you do? Do you want a Fractional job?

So, You will sell your wife, your children, your country for a few extra bucks.

I'm glad you're not with me in a real fight.

Some things, including Seniority, are just not for sale!
