Hey got a question about my upcoming interview. I would like to try to get home the night of my interview, but in no way want to be in a rush. What time, at the latest could I expect to get to the airport after the interview?

Thanks in advance.

Southwest just had me for the interview on the 10th and wow!...a great experience to remember, you will LUV it. I did the LOI in the AM and the 1 on 1 interviews in the PM so I finished up around 1545, caught the 1600 shuttle to Love field and was on the jet to Houston by 1700. The PM LOI interviewees were done just a bit earlier I believe. Keep the faith!!

It depends. If you have your one on one intetrviews in the morning you should be done by 1500. The interviewees who had the interviews in the afternoon left a little later. I had my interviews in the morning and LOI in the afetrnoon and was done at 1445. Good luck and be yourself. :)

Thanks for all the info, looks like I can try to make it home after all. Typed in Feb03 Applied the next week.

Why the rush home?

Dedicated applicants have been known to stick around and help clean up after interviews. The furniture can get pretty sweaty and needs to be disinfected! After that, the hardcore types head over to the hotel for another evening of food and drinks with the SWA folks that happen to be in town for training.

Enjoy the ride, and good luck.
