About 3 weeks ago, I applied for an Intelligence Officer position and just heard back from them 4 days ago with an interview offer in middle January. Have yet to take the AFOQT test and getting the runaround on how to set up a test date to take it since the unit I'm applying at is in another state. There's an Army MEPS site in my area, but they said a recruiter had to refer me; the recruiter I spoke with a month ago told me contact a site on my own in my home area. Hadn't thought about it over the last few weeks since I didn't think they would call me back for an interview. Does anyone know exactly how the AFOQT is administered? Also on the issue of interviewing, is suit and tie the proper attire? Thanks!

If there is a National Guard unit close by, or a Reserve recruiter close by, they can set you up with the test. I went to the local National Guard unit and got scheduled for the AFOQT which was administered at the local MEPS. The active duty OFFICER recruiter for your area may not want to help unless you are going for active duty.
