Ladies and Gentlemen:

I have a seasonal flying job that keeps me busy in fall/Winter/Spring and bored out of my Ying Yang in the summer (June Until Sep.) I am happy where I am but I like to get a summer flying job ... It does not have to be high paying, just get me in the air. I have ATPL and over 3000hrs TT and 1400Multi (on Navajo, BN2 and C310) with management experience!

Any ideas where to look and what to do?
Thank you so mch in advance

summer flying

If you're going to go to florida skip the banners and find a gig flying charters to the bahamas. Might as well see a little tail instead of tow one.

If you're out west or up in MN, you may be able to get a job with a company that does Contract work for the US Forest Service. I think some places use contract work for fire spotting and such.

I'm gonna turn this around on you and ask what you do in the winter. I am in the opposite situation. We generally don't start flying until about April and get done sometime in September. I really need to find something to do during the winter months. I have been getting a little contract work and instructing, but I would like to find something a little more steady. It sounds like you need to find a good ag seat for the summer months. This may or may not be your cup of tea. I usually make enough during the summer months to just sit around the house all winter and play with the kids if I want. I would just like to find something steady that gives me a little more spending money.
